Designed to meet the initial training needs of new food handlers and support staff, the course emphasises good and bad practices and the important contribution to hygienic food directly related to their role.

Elementary Food Hygiene

Suitable for all food handlers, this one day programme provides a general introduction to food hygiene issues including hazard analysis and provides the necessary knowledge and information needed to underpin good food safety practices in your establishment.

Intermediate Food Hygiene

Particularly suitable for Managers and Supervisory food handling staff, this 3½day programme reinforces the importance of the supervisory role in preventing food poisoning. On successful completion the supervisor will be equipped to satisfactorily operate a HACCP system, such as CookSafe, in accordance with legislative requirements and the standards required to achieve the Eat Safe Award.

Elementary Food and Health

This one day programme has been developed to focus on the relationship between food and health and provide nutritional information to professionals working in food and catering outlets. Provide participants with up-to-date information to build knowledge, understanding, and confidence in delivery of healthy options in food and lifestyle.
